Getting Ready for Science FCAT

This Monday you'll will be taking the science FCAT which covers material learned in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Throughout the year you've included "connections to prior science knowledge" in your notebooks as a way to help you remember what was learned in previous years.

In addition you've also been using FCAT Explorer.

This is a great tool for your review. We started using this on 3/4 and then had a full period on 3/10. If you have not completed all the sections in Science Voyager click on the image above and login. You user id is typically the first letter of your first name plus your last name. The password is your 8 digit date of birth (mmddyyyy). First section to review is Life & Environmental then do Physical & Chemical. If you have time do Earth & Space and Lessons.

Now we are taking the full 2007 Science FCAT test and reviewing the answers. These resources and more have been available to you through the Home Study page for months. Scroll down the page to the heading "Study for science FCAT" and review some of the materials there.
