A nice meal with family and friends, a bottle of wine and good conversation — a perfect Sunday evening. Who could ask for more? What did we talk about? Well neutrinos breaking the ultimate of speed limits — the speed of light. What else would we have been talking about?
No really, that was part of our conversation. Nothing is suppose to be able to go faster than the speed of light! That’s part of Einstein’s theory of relativity. You know Einstein, the guy with the funny hair.
So what is going on at CERN, the mammoth underground particle accelerator in Europe?

Well I know one thing faster then light which is me
but the sources thats going on at CERN in Europe is really incredible i would like more info
Nothing can go the speed of light dean except light
and the CERN

why did they send the particles through rock?
Why not something like the air or water?
I’m guessing it is to gather the vibrations??? Water has the tendency to slow things down.
CERN are trying to re-create the BIG BANG! How cool is that!?!
CERN, really is a cool thing. The concept of re-creating the big bang is incredible and at the same time risky.
Well thanks Mr. Grant, I’ve been behind on these great advances and I come back and find this. I think it is absolutely ground breaking in every way. Right now they are just particles, but one day this knowledge will help fuel dreams that once could only be realized in Science Fiction.
Anyone else want faster than light travel! XD
Hi William; great to hear from you. You’r right it’s getting harder and harder to distinguish between science fact and fiction.
