Mountains come from the continents floating on molten material and bumping into each other, and the area where they have collided push up creating these mountains.

Pressure is applied to coal and because it is carbon, after the pressure is released, a diamond is formed.

No, the earth does not get heavier when a baby is born, because the baby is actually made from things already on the earth.

The earth's plates are basically floating on lava and when they collide, one goes above and the other beneath. The friction between the two creates a quick release of energy. That release causes the earth to shake.

As water flows, it picks up small amounts of mineral salts from the rocks and soil of the river beds. This salty water flows into the oceans and seas. The water in the oceans only leaves by evaporating and the freezing of polar ice, but the salt remains dissolved in the ocean it does not evaporate. So the remaining water gets saltier and saltier every time this cycle is continued.

Oceans have waves mainly due to wind. The wind blowing across the surface of the ocean causes these waves to build. The higher the wind the bigger the waves. The longer the wind blows the bigger the waves. And then, when the waves reach the shore; they crest and crash. The waves also break and it looks like they're falling into themselves.

Mountains come from the fact that the continents are floating on this surface of molten material. As these things move and bump into each other, some of it is pushed up, and the areas where it's pushed up actually become our mountains.

Why is the sky blue?
A chemical reaction in the atmosphere with oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide (little water vapor). Also the atmosphere scatters blue light more than any other wavelenght. OOOOOH!!!!!!! YA!!!!!

mE sMarTiCal!!!!!!!!!!!
                                      (=PIKACHU=)
