What’s the Big Idea?

Big Ideas are the major topics of study for our class. They come from the Florida Sunshine State Standards and spell out what students are expected to know or be able to do at the end of their studies. You can get a quick look at them by clicking “Big Ideas” on the menu. More specifics are available by clicking the benchmarks associated to the Big Idea (i.e. Big Idea 1 Benchmarks)

Today we began reviewing the first Big Idea — The Process of Inquiry. Below is the class presentation. Take a minute or two to review it now and compare it to what you have in your notes. We’ll finish our notes and complete the reflection during this week.
